Mentor

It is in relatively modern times that the term mentor has come into common use for a wise and trusted counsellor, teacher, trainer, guide, sponsor or supporter.

But the word dates back to the Greek myth of Mentor, son of Hercules, who was entrusted with the care and protection of his friend’s son and home while he was fighting the Trojan War.

The benefits of a one-to-one relationship with a trusted, experienced mentor have long been recognised and rrmuk clients have the wisdom of an objective, professional guide to call on.
